Andrew Davis is pleased to announce another Coconut Chorus Fiji tour with choir leader, Sue Johnson.
To be held from 18 to 25 May 2027, the tour includes workshops, sessions with local choirs learning Fijian songs, and visits to local villages.
Bookings are limited, register early to avoid disappointment! NOTE: There is a $100 discount for non-singing partners.
ABOUT THE TOUR:
Your stay at the First Landing Resort includes 7 nights of accommodation and meals. You will enjoy this lovely small resort which is situated right on the beach with tropical island vistas, stunning sunsets, comfortable accommodation, excellent food, facilities, and nightly entertainment. You have the choice of either beachfront or garden accommodation which you can discuss with us at the time of booking.
The resort is only twenty minutes from Nadi airport so there are no long extra transfers. Your workshop space has views out over the ocean and other nearby islands and you can enjoy one of the many activities on offer to do in your free time. There are singing workshops each day except for your free day. However, we find that often there is no limit to how much we sing on these tours with locals and guests continuing on past our scheduled times.
Meals – ll meals are included in the tour price, with 7 breakfasts, 7 dinners, and 5 lunches provided. One evening, we’ll visit a local Fijian village to enjoy a traditional lovo feast. All other included meals will be served at the resort. The only meal not included is lunch on your free day, giving you the flexibility to dine at the marina next door, head into nearby Lautoka Town for shopping and lunch, or join an optional day boat trip to one of the beautiful surrounding islands.
Cross cultural exchange – You will also have a full and unique cultural immersion into Fiji culture with a trip to one of the remote villages in the mountains and a village near our resort. This unique experience is possible because of Andrew’s history and connection with the people of Fiji. You will be welcomed into the village and invited to enjoy some of the traditional activities and possibly share songs and will then be invited to take part in a Fijian feast (lovo).
TOUR WORKSHOPS – Your workshop spaces are both inside and out, all with views over the ocean and the other nearby islands. There are singing workshops each day except for your free day.
