TOUR OVERVIEW
NEW TOUR ANNOUNCED
Andrew Davis is pleased to announce the Loloma Levu (Big Love) Fiji tour with leaders Fiona Lamb and Tracey Miller
To be held from 23 – 30 August 2026, the tour includes workshops, sessions with local choirs learning Fijian songs and visits to local villages.
Fiona Lamb has arranged for and directed acappella groups for 30 years including Honeybees, Sweet Spirit Quartet, Holy Trinity, Heavens to Betsy, Northern Lights and It’s A Gospel Nation, which she directed at the 1998 Womadelaide festival. She has further developed her composing, arranging and directing chops with Café of the Gate of Salvation and Good Vibrations Choir. Fi is renowned for her reckless joy in choir direction and vocal arrangements that reserve a lot of love for the Basses.
Fi says “African American Gospel has such a special place in my heart, but Pacific Gospel, much closer to home, is a new frontier and I’m excited to explore it!”
Tracey Miller is a renowned Australian choir leader, performer, and teacher with over 30 years of experience in gospel, Blues, Jazz, and world music. Known for her warmth, energy, and deep musicality. She leads the Archie’s Creek District Choir (ACDC) and Choir Exotica in Melbourne. Tracey leads choirs and tours that encourage people to rediscover the joy and freedom of singing — regardless of experience or background. Her approach is grounded in the belief that singing should be fearless, communal, and full of heart.
ABOUT THE TOUR:
Your stay at the First Landing Resort includes 7 nights of accommodation and meals. You will enjoy this lovely small resort which is situated right on the beach with tropical island vistas, stunning sunsets, comfortable accommodation, excellent food, facilities, and nightly entertainment. You have the choice of either beachfront or garden accommodation which you can discuss with us at the time of booking.
The resort is only twenty minutes from Nadi airport so there are no long extra transfers.
Your workshop space has views out over the ocean and other nearby islands and you can enjoy one of the many activities on offer to do in your free time. There are singing workshops each day except for your free day. However, we find that often there is no limit to how much we sing on these tours with locals and guests continuing on past our scheduled times.
All meals will be provided at the resort except for a Fijian feast (lovo), and lunch on your free day which you are responsible for.
You will also have a full and unique cultural immersion into Fiji culture with a trip to one of the remote villages in the mountains and a village near our resort. This unique experience is possible because of Andrew’s history and connection with the people of Fiji. You will be welcomed into the village and invited to enjoy some of the traditional activities and invited to take part in a Fijian feast (lovo) for lunch.
