Andrew Davis is pleased to announce another Coconut Chorus Fiji tour with choir leaders Brian Martin and Imogen Wolf.
To be held from 7 to 14 May 2027, the tour includes workshops with Brian and Imogen, sessions with local choirs learning Fijian songs, and visits to local villages.
Bookings are limited, register early to avoid disappointment! NOTE: There is a $100 discount for non-singing partners.
ABOUT THE TOUR:
Your stay at the First Landing Resort includes 7 nights of accommodation and meals. You will enjoy this lovely small resort which is situated right on the beach with tropical island vistas, stunning sunsets, comfortable accommodation, excellent food, facilities, and nightly entertainment. You have the choice of either beachfront or garden accommodation which you can discuss with us at the time of booking.
The resort is only twenty minutes from Nadi airport so there are no long extra transfers.
Your workshop space has views out over the ocean and other nearby islands and you can enjoy one of the many activities on offer to do in your free time. There are singing workshops each day except for your free day. However, we find that often there is no limit to how much we sing on these tours with locals and guests continuing on past our scheduled times.
Meals – All meals (7 breakfasts, 7 dinners and 5 lunches) are covered in the price including one night when we visit a local village for a Fijian feast (lovo). All other meals are provided at the resort except one lunch on your free day that you will be responsible for. Have lunch and a shopping expedition to nearby Lautoka town or join a posse on a tropical island day trip for a sublime snorkelling experience.
Cross cultural exchange – You will also have a full and unique cultural immersion into Fiji culture with a trip to one of the remote villages in the mountains and a village near our resort. This unique experience is possible because of Andrew’s history and connection with the people of Fiji. You will be welcomed into the village and invited to enjoy some of the traditional activities, share songs and then take part in a Fijian feast (lovo).
